Get ready for one of Houston Rabbit Resource’s most beloved traditions. Bun Hop’s Awkward Art is back for the holidays. Whether the portraits turn out adorable, chaotic, or wonderfully weird, every single one helps raise lifesaving funds for rabbits in need.
How It Works:
From Friday, December 5 at 8 am through Sunday, December 7 at 8 pm, donors submit a photo of their pet. Our amazing volunteer artists create quick, fun, and delightfully awkward portraits in their own unique style. Any art style is welcome (no AI).
Every donor receives:
• Their digital portrait by email
• The original art piece, available for
• $15/artwork
• +$5 for shipping
Artist Participation:
Artists choose the time slots they are available and how many portraits they can take on. We email each photo directly to the artist and they send the finished piece back. It is simple, light, and creative.
Why It Matters:
Every portrait helps fund medical care, supplies, and programs that support Houston-area rabbits. It is a joyful and heartfelt way to give back during the holiday season while celebrating the quirky charm of Awkward Art.
